Diddy Reinvents Himself Again

Diddy has done it again. The former Puffy, former Puff Daddy, former P. Diddy has decided it’s time to add yet another name to his arsenal of pseudonyms. Crediting his musical comeback as motivation, the mogul said that he has again re-christened himself.

“Check it out, so I decided I’m going to change my name for a week in honor of my comeback,” Diddy revealed in a video. “Y’all know I’ve been known as Puff, Puffy, Puff Daddy, Diddy, P. Diddy, King Combs, earlier it was Sean Combs, and for a week, this week only, call me by my new name, ‘Swag.’ Check it out. My new name is Swag.”

King Combs?’

Must’ve missed that one.

Romeo Makes Out With Kirstie Alley

Romeo and his fellow “Dancing With the Stars” contestant Kirstie Alley were ‘caught’ by some photographers locking lips during one of the show’s rehearsals. Though the the pics of the twentysomething rapper and the sixtysomething actress immediately sent the Web buzzing, the whole thing was just for a laugh and to get a bit of attention.

At least, that’s the story.

“Romeo and I got bored today so we decided to put on a little freak show for the paps…… Hehe,” Alley tweeted. “@JenniferGrey wish I did like “Boys” instead if men…. Less complicated.. Hehe… Still blaming u for not fully defining “brutal”.. Hehe”

The former “Cheers” star seemed to be enjoying the fans’ reactions.

“@NannyMLC Romeos idea!… It was funny!” she continued.

Nicki Minaj On Her Ass-ets:

Nicki Minaj knows what you’re looking at. The Young Money star sat down with Funkmaster Flex on MTV and discussed the public fascination with her most booty-ful asset. Like J. Lo and Serena before her, Minaj’s rump has become its own kind of celebrity.

“I don’t mind the question, I don’t mind the fascination. It’s all good,” she giggled. “I’ve said this before: it doesn’t define me, so I try my best not to focus my energy on it. Like if you guys focus energy on it, I don’t mind it. if people are sitting in a barbershop talking about my butt, it’s conversational. That’s what people are going to do. As long as they’re talking about Nicki Minaj, it’s good.”

Lil Kim vs. Keyshia Cole

Lil Kim just refuses to stop. The one-time hitmaking rapper has seemingly made a career out of messy ‘beefs’ with younger stars and seems to want to draw attention to herself for any and everything except her music. Now, Kimberly is taking on Keyshia Cole. Why? Because Keyshia dared to do a song with Kim’s sworn enemy, the almost-ten-years-younger Nicki Minaj. Keyshia defended herself against Kim’s charges of ‘disloyalty’ via Twitter.

“@LilKim all I’m saying is don’t have everyone thinking I was disloyal as a “friends” cause we were never that and u know it. No disrespect,” Keyshia told Kim after repeated jabs from the rapper. “”I don’t have beef with anyone. I’m done. I feel the way I feel about friendship and loyalty. I ain’t never been fake. All I’m saying.”

“U got that right. We are not friends,” Kim tweeted to Keyshia. “The same way U take friendship seriously i take loyalty serious. The whole world has seen me extend my hand to u over and over again. Only someone who’s trying to build a sincere relationship does shows 4 free & supports. u did not pay me a dime 4 none of that. That warrants some type of loyalty and respect.”

“Friend or no friend i would have never let anybody disrespect u on my record,” Kim continued. “But i can’t expect everyone to be as real as i am.At the end of the day karma is as real as i am and it’s coming to get u. oh wait…if it hasnt got u already…My love & loyalty to u got u a hit, ur friendship with ur friend got u a flop. looks like u need to choose ur friends more wisely dont u think? #teamlilkim LEGGGGOOOO.”

“Loyalty and respect has nothing to do with friendship…BOOM. Loyalty and respect is about returning a kindness,” the supposed ‘Queen’ continued. “Have you ever came out and supported me at my shows? i dont think so. Yes it was a good look for me but it was a great look for u. At the end of the day it was a hit on YOUR album. Sticking 2 the situation. Again I would have never let anyone disrespect U on my song. That’s loyalty & respect. End of story.”

Rick Ross Was Inspired By Diddy

Rick Ross revealed that his inspiration for launching his own Maybach Music Group was seeing hip hop moguls like Diddy and Cash Money’s Brian “Baby” Williams. Following their template, Ross has begun building his own stable of artists, ranging from rapper Wale to soul singer Teedra Moses.

“Building Maybach Music Group, building this empire, of course I was inspired by some of the earlier movements and earlier dudes that came along such as Cash Money [and] Bad Boy Records. To me, when I really think about the greatest era of hip-hop, that was the greatest eras of hip-hop; when I turned on the TV and saw Big, Mase, Junior Mafia, and the Lox. That was the most exciting era of hip-hop. I looked at the No Limit era and saw that camaraderie that they had, that unity, that brotherhood that they shared. I think it spilled over from [their] music,” Rick Ross says.
