Man Says Lil Boosie Paid Him To Murder

Incarcerated rapper Lil Boosie is being accused of paying $15,000 to have rival rapper Christopher “Nussie” Jackson murdered. Louisiana prosecutors released a videotaped statement from Michael “Marlo Mike” Louding in court during which he claimed that Boosie wanted Nussie killed for disrespecting Boosie’s associates.

Louding claims Lil Boosie hired both he and a man named Michael “Ghost” Judson to murder Nussie and a man named Terry Boyd. Judson was also later killed.

Louding has also been charged with five other murders between 2009 and 2010.

Big Sean Headlining Tour

G.O.O.D. Music’s Big Sean has announced that he will be headlining his own tour later in the fall of 2011. Sean is currently on tour with Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa as the opening act.

“This fall, I’m doing my own tour,” Sean explained. “The tour’s definitely going to be some fun sh*t, and it’s going to be me headlining.”

Sean shared some of the details of his routine while on tour with Wiz.

“This tour [with Wiz Khalifa] is what’s really taking a lot of my time up,” he noted. “This sh*t is so tiring, I can’t even believe it. It’s like, waking up early as f*ck, doing radio all day [with] meet-and-greets, then doing a show, then doing after parties, mixed with interviews, mixed with…writing raps. It’s tiring as hell, but…it’s all a process to me, so I’m excited and happy. Every time I’m about to complain, I’m like, ‘Sh*t, I’ve wanted this so bad.’ It’s better than being broke as f*ck and living with my mom.”

Jay-Z On Referencing Biggie's Rhymes:

Jay-Z detractors have long tried to use the fact that he uses famous lines from the late Notorious B.I.G. in several of his rhymes as reason to dismiss his abilities. But Jay says those critics miss the point–he’s paying homage to a hip hop legend.[video here]

“There was a vow in that song about Big. So doing that was my way of always keeping him fresh and keeping his music fresh on everyone’s mind,” he said. “So I’m inspired by music and I’m a fan and a historian. I study music and different emotions and things like that. So, if I’m inspired by it, I just use it. It’s not a crutch for me. I can write a song without using anyone’s lyric at all.”

“That sums the whole thing up. Be comfortable with yourself and your ability. You don’t have that insecurity when people say, ‘Oh he stealing homeboy’s lyrics, he can’t write a rap.’ We can sit down next to anybody and write two verses. They could write and I could sit up there and come with a verse and we can see who comes up with a better verse any day.”

DMX Released From Prison

Rapper DMX was released from prison in Yuma, Arizona today (July 19.) According to sources, a low-key group of friends and family were at the facility to greet him as he walked out. The rapper briefly outlined his immediate plans.

“I spoke to my daughter, I just got off the phone with my wife,” DMX told AllHipHop. “I’m going to go see my daughter while the sun is up then I’m going to be in the studio man.”

He served seven months of his one-year prison sentence for probation violation.

“Earl has so much more to offer the world. His latest project has been on hold for so long! It is now time for X to redefine the world of Hip-Hop with his highly anticipated album of inspirational, painful & street accredited rhymes. It is time to let the Dog out of the kennel,” said Nakia Walker, his manager.

Project Pat Investing In Real Estate

Rapper Project Pat is releasing his latest album, Loud Pack today. The project was mostly handled by DJ Paul of Three Six Mafia and features the Hypnotized Minds camp as well as Rick Ross.

“The thing about Hypnotize Minds is that they know the style you’re going to come with,” Project Pat said in an interview. “Working with them over the years, we just know how we’re going to do it. They already know the beats. Say DJ Paul makes 10 beats, I may mess around and use all 10 of them. He already knew what I was looking for.”

Pat also revealed that he’s been investing in real estate for the past several years, which has turned into a lucrative income stream for the rapper.

“Music has been really good, but the real estate has been really good too though,” Project Pat said. “Houses have been really cheap to buy. So they kind of go together – I’ve been getting good shows, and I’ve been getting good money to buy real estate. I’ve been really blessed; I’m super good.”
